EE Toolbox Terms & Conditions

These terms define how EE Toolbox should be used and set clear expectations around calculations, scan assistance, local data, and user responsibility.

1. Agreement

These Terms and Conditions govern use of the EE Toolbox mobile app. By downloading, accessing, or using EE Toolbox, users agree to these terms.

2. What EE Toolbox does

EE Toolbox provides offline electrical and electronics calculators, formula references, saved calculations, favorites, recent tools, and optional camera-assisted text capture for component markings and barcode or QR text.

3. Engineering disclaimer

EE Toolbox is a practical calculation and reference aid only. It does not replace datasheets, standards, lab measurements, safety reviews, regulatory review, or professional engineering judgment.

4. User responsibility

Users are responsible for checking all inputs, units, formulas, assumptions, warnings, saved notes, scan text, and final design decisions before relying on any output from the app.

5. Calculation and scan accuracy

Calculations, OCR, barcode recognition, and displayed references may be inaccurate, incomplete, unavailable, or unsuitable for a particular design. Component tolerances, temperature, real-world parasitics, layout, safety margins, and manufacturer specifications can materially affect results.

6. Safety-critical use

Users must not rely solely on EE Toolbox for safety-critical, medical, automotive, aerospace, industrial control, high-voltage, mains-powered, or legally regulated designs. Independent verification is required.

7. Local data and device risk

EE Toolbox is designed to store app data locally. If a device is lost, damaged, reset, shared, compromised, or cleared, saved calculations and scan history may be lost or exposed.

8. Acceptable use

Users must use EE Toolbox lawfully and must not misuse scan features, app data, or outputs in a way that violates rights, laws, safety rules, or platform policies.

9. Availability and changes

The app may be improved, changed, suspended, or discontinued. Features can vary by Android version, device capability, permissions, language, camera quality, and store availability.

10. Disclaimers

EE Toolbox is provided as-is and as-available. To the maximum extent allowed by law, warranties of accuracy, reliability, uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, and error-free calculations or scans are disclaimed.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the developer is not liable for design errors, damaged components, missed warnings, unsafe circuits, lost data, device issues, business loss, indirect damages, or consequential damages arising from use of EE Toolbox.

12. Contact
