I'm Jacob Samas, a software engineer building across web, mobile and desktop.

I like turning a practical problem into software people can use.

My engineering journey began with electrical and electronics studies and internships in Goa. During my bachelor’s degree, I started learning Python and building web applications. That work grew into customer websites, administrative dashboards, mobile apps and native desktop tools.

I’ve been a partner at Evyxai since November 2025. My work there includes Snaptics, Vault and billing software: products built around on-device search, document management and everyday business workflows.

At Groomsy, I built a B2B2C salon platform with three connected surfaces: a customer website, an admin dashboard and a website for salons and professionals. I also completed a freelance engagement for Ganesha Toys from August 2024 to August 2025, building its wooden-toy storefront and store-management dashboard.

Two independent projects I’m particularly proud of are TermiRust, a native terminal and SSH client with an agent canvas, and rmac, a Linux desktop suite in development. They’ve given me room to work on Rust, desktop interfaces and system integration.
